Learning Enrichment
Learning Enrichment Faculty, in partnership with parents and other teachers, aims to identify and help individuals to reach their full potential, with special emphasis on students who have needs beyond the mainstream classroom. In the spirit of Mary Ward and the Loreto ethos, we help students to accept their strengths, limitations and general needs and to develop a sense of responsibility for their learning.
We organize and run a number of programs. Some of the programs,
like those related to general study and essay skills, are suitable
for all students in the school; others have specific target groups.

Through our careful process of tracking student achievement, we are able to recognise and promote learning success for all students through recommendations of Principal’s Awards which are made each semester for academic excellence, application, and improvement. Early detection of student underachievement and communication with classroom teachers of helpful strategies is also a major emphasis of the Learning Enrichment department.
