Mullhall

Motto: ...unity burns within...

Mulhall House is named after Mother Stanislaus Mulhall. She is remembered as one of the great women who laid the foundations of the Loreto tradition in Australia. Her work as the Mistress of Novices for 30 years was largely hidden from most people. She had a superb talent as a musician and a great knowledge and love of Mary Ward, even at a time when the Church had not yet acknowledged or re-installed Mary Ward as the foundress of the Institute.

mulhallMuch of the strength and leadership of the young women in our school and in Mulhall House is a quiet, if not hidden thing. Many of them will come to live lives that will be known only by those who work closely with them, those who know them well. As with Mother Stanislaus Mulhall, the challenge is always to live a life of integrity, sincerity and compassion.

It is our hope and vision that all of our students will understand and deeply value the hidden light in their lives. There is a spirit of warmth and community in Mulhall that you feel when the girls get together.  The generous support they offer each other is at the heart of the values of Mulhall House – the unity that burns within
