Academic Scholarship

Academic scholarships cover tuition fees only and may be full or partial. Scholarships are granted at the Principal’s discretion following the annual scholarship examination in May each year. They are offered to students in the year prior to entering Year 7 and there are two for offer.

• The usual enrolment fee is to be paid by any family accepting an academic scholarship. The student and family must satisfy the requirements as listed in the Loreto Normanhurst Enrolment Policy and must follow the appropriate process for enrolment.
• Families interested in an academic scholarship express interest through the Enrolment Manager and complete appropriate application forms (available from the Enrolment Manager)
• All relevant information must be completed and returned to the Enrolment Manager prior to sitting the annual examination. Applicants are generally notified of the outcome of their applications in June.
• The school grants an academic scholarship to a student in the hope that the recipient will financially support Loreto Normanhurst in the future in order to provide other young women the opportunity of an academic scholarship at Loreto Normanhurst.
