Head of Business Operations

Permanent full time Head of Business Operations

Responsibilities include operational leadership of the School’s business and financial operations ensuring continuous improvement and development. The successful applicant will provide support and assistance to the Chief Operating Officer (Business Manager), financial analysis of the school’s operations and will ensure the school meets all of its business and financial statutory requirements and reporting.

Applicants should have tertiary qualifications, a membership of a professional association (CPA/ICA, CGMA) and demonstrate a strong working knowledge of all aspects of financial operations, statutory requirements and compliance obligations.  A strong career in finance and accounting with a minimum seven years at a senior level is preferred.

School Counsellor – Psychologist

Permanent, full time School Counsellor–Psychologist (42 weeks of the year)

Responsibilities include leading the Counselling Team in providing pastoral care and psychological support and education to enhance the social, emotional and educational needs of students, as well as providing information to support families and staff.

The successful candidate will be a qualified psychologist and possess experience in providing psychological support to children and adolescents. The incumbent will provide clinical guidance and leadership to the Counselling Team in providing support to both Day and Boarding students. The School Counsellor-Psychologist will also be an integral member of the Pastoral Care Team and will contribute to the implementation of student wellbeing programs.

A sound understanding of child protection legislation and adolescent care is essential.

Boarding Coordinator – two roles

Permanent part time, term time Boarding Coordinators to work in the Boarding School from:

  • Wednesday 3:00pm to Saturday 12:30pm every week.  This role is 35.30 hours per week.  Sleepovers will be required. (Ref BC1)
  • Sunday 2:30pm to Wednesday 10:30am every week.  This role is 32 hours per week.  Sleepovers will be required. (Ref BC2)

These leadership positions are responsible for the supervision and pastoral care of boarding girls and these roles require personal maturity, teamwork and experience working with groups of young people. 

Candidates who are studying education, welfare or health science and/or who have attended a boarding school and have a strong sense of community are encouraged to apply. A driver’s licence and a Working with Children Check clearance is essential.

CASUAL BUS DRIVERS 

Candidates must possess a Medium Rigid (MR) driving licence and an excellent driving record. An RTA printout of your driving history will be required. The hours of work will be ad hoc, often at short notice and will involve day, evening and weekend shifts.
