Director of People and Culture

 

Loreto Normanhurst is a leading Catholic, independent day and boarding school for girls in Years 5-12.

We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Human Resource Management specialist to the permanent full-time position of Director of People and Culture.

This position is a newly created position that encompasses strategic and operational responsibilities.

In keeping with its significance in relation to the achievement of the School’s strategic plan, the person in this position reports directly to the Principal and is a member of the School’s Leadership Team, working in close consultation and collaboration with all other members of the Leadership Team. They will also be responsible for providing ongoing support for, and liaison with middle managers and line managers, and the leadership and supervision of other human resource management staff.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, innovative human resource management specialist with experience across the range of contemporary human resource management functions and the capacity to, and interest in applying their knowledge and skills to an independent school context.

All staff at Loreto Normanhurst are expected to actively support the Catholic, and specifically Loreto, ethos of the school. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a valid Working with Children Check from the Office of the Children’s Guardian
