Loreto Normanhurst is well served by public transport with Normanhurst Railway Station about 400m from the school with an overhead walkway over Pennant Hills Road and an internal Drop-off/Pickup zone inside the school grounds for both public and private bus services.
From 31 October 2020, the NorthConnex tunnel will clear Pennant Hills Road and make it even easier to get to Loreto Normanhurst. Spanning nine kilometres, the tunnel will link the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga to the Hills M2 Motorway at West Pennant Hills, removing around 5,000 trucks off Pennant Hills Road each day.
Public buses to the school are provided by Shorelink/TransDev and ComfortDelGro Cabcharge/Hillsbus /Dural Bus Services. These are School Bus services specifically for school students. The Government M60 Service also has a stop on Pennant Hills Road directly at the school gate.
