HSC Results 2020
Congratulations to the Class of 2020! We are so proud of each and every one of you.
Loreto Normanhurst has a strong tradition of academic excellence throughout its history. Through the Loreto Normanhurst Student Growth Model, the school aims to develop each student holistically in the areas of Faith, Academic, Community and Extra-curricular (FACE) development.
In 2020, Loreto Normanhurst HSC students achieved extraordinary results. The School received 11 Top Achievers in course (students who received a place in the State) and 16 All-round Achievers (students who achieved the highest possible band in 10 or more units).
The whole year group performed in an outstanding fashion. There were 116 students on the Distinguished Achievers list, with a total of 340 mentions.
An impressive 6 students (4%) of the Class of 2020 achieved an estimated ATAR of 99 and above, 44 students (27%) attained an ATAR of 95 and above, 85 students (52%) attained an ATAR of 90 and above and 137 students (85%) were above 80.
Loreto Normanhurst was ranked 4th among Catholic Schools, and 26th overall in NSW (*Source: Sydney Morning Herald, December 18 2020 results).
As a non-selective and comprehensive school, this is an incredible achievement from the students who worked so very hard for these results.
