Breaking Barriers in Aviation: Emma Christensen ('04) at Women of Influence
At this year’s Women of Influence Evening, we are thrilled to welcome Emma Christensen ('04), a pioneer in aviation and an advocate for women in traditionally male-dominated industries. As a First Officer on the Boeing 747 with Atlas Air, Emma’s career has taken her across the globe, from patient transport and regional connections to large-scale cargo and charter flights.
Emma’s passion extends beyond the cockpit, she is dedicated to inspiring more women to pursue careers in aviation. Her travels have given her a deep appreciation for different cultures, and outside of flying, she enjoys multi-day hikes, road trips, and time with loved ones. Looking ahead, she is focused on future career advancements, including upgrading to Captain and further study.
