On Monday 25 October, we welcomed staff and Years 5 to 12 back to Loreto Normanhurst! They joined Year 12, who returned onsite the week before.
After many months of remote learning and time spent apart, we were thrilled to have the energy and laughter of students return to the grounds.
We celebrated in the morning by creating 'Loretoville,' an open circle of miniature Loreto girls on the Oak Tree Lawn as well as small groups located around the school. Our students wrote gratitude messages on the back during a morning Pastoral session. More than anything else, it seems Loreto girls are grateful to be seeing their friends again!
Later in the week, students decorated our quad and walkways with colourful chalk drawings. In our first assembly, livestreamed to classrooms, we celebrated outstanding student achievement in FPS Nationals, LN Rowing and beyond.
Thanks to our Pastoral team, staff and student leaders for making our first week back full and felicitous.
