This flyer and video below provide visual instructions and further information on the new arrangements.

Arriving and Leaving by Car

The Slip Road which is currently used for student drop off will NO LONGER be accessible to cars. Please do not make arrangements to pick your daughter up from the Slip Road at any time, including after hours.

There will now be TWO alternate pick up drop off (PUDO) locations. Please choose your pick up drop off location based on your direction of travel AFTER pick up drop off:

South-bound towards Pennant Hills - Use Link Road Pick Up Drop Off

  1. For families travelling south towards Pennant Hills AFTER pick up drop off please use the new Link Road PUDO.
  2. Access this PUDO from Osborn Road Gate 1. Entry and travel along the new Link Road is one way.

North-bound towards Hornsby - Use Oval Pick Up Drop Off

  1. For families travelling north towards Hornsby AFTER pick up drop off please use the new Oval PUDO.
  2. Access this PUDO from Osborn Road Gate 4. Entry and travel along the Oval Car Park is one way.

Arriving and Leaving by Bus

Students using government buses and the Loreto Normanhurst Private Bus Service will continue to use existing travel arrangements. Buses will continue to enter the school via the Slip Road off Osborn Road Gate 2.

Arriving and Leaving on Foot

Pedestrians can enter the School at the following locations:

  1. Heritage Gates at Gate PH1 (at peak times)
  2. Pennant Hills Road at Gate PH2 (at all times)
  3. Teresa Ball Primary at Gate MP1 (at all times)

For safety reasons in relation to visibility on the internal Link Road, the pedestrian crossing has been re-located further along the Link Road and the gate from the footbridge onto the Link Road will no longer be operational. Students arriving from Normanhurst Train Station will use the pedestrian footbridge over Pennant Hills Road then continue down the ramp onto the Pennant Hills Road footpath and enter the school via one of the gates on Pennant Hills Road. We will monitor this arrangement and review the plan with the traffic consultants over the coming weeks.

Parking

Visitors can continue to park in Mt Pleasant Avenue, on the grass verge beyond the Primary School and will be able to access limited car spaces in the Main Reception Car Park. Parking in this car park will be rear to curb.

The new Tennis Court Car Park will provide additional car spaces for staff which will free up parking in other school car parks and streets surrounding the school for visitors as needed.

Parking for the Aquatic Centre will continue to be in the Oval Car Park.

Please note that these parking arrangements do not apply for special events such as the Spring Fair this Sunday, 30 October. For all special events, specific parking instructions will be provided separately.

The changes outlined will help to reduce congestion on local roads, and will allow for increased ease and safety in travel to school. Safety for our community is our number one priority and we ask that you be mindful of this as these changes are implemented. As we transition into the new PUDO and traffic arrangements from next Monday, 31 October, the School will be engaging the services of an external Traffic Company to assist with making this a smooth and safe transition. We ask that you adhere to any directions provided to you by the staff on duty or Traffic Controllers.

We thank you for your patience and support as we transition to the updated traffic management plan.
