In June we staged our junior production of ‘The Witches’ to eight sold out shows!
Following the tremendous success of ‘Matilda the Musical Jr.’ last year, we once again embarked on the exciting journey of bringing to life the imaginative works of Roald Dahl. This time, our talented students from Year 7-9 took centre stage, captivating audiences with their outstanding performances.
Our production of 'The Witches' captured the magic, nostalgia, and excitement of Dahl's timeless tale and we created an experience that resonated with contemporary audiences. The play's underlying theme, which emphasises that even the smallest individuals, such as mice in this case, can effect significant change in the real world, particularly struck a chord with our junior students.
We were delighted to showcase the creativity, aptitude, and skill of our students. Transforming our lovely girls into a mischievous bunch of cackling witches posed its challenges, but it also proved to be an incredibly enjoyable experience for the entire cast and crew!
Please enjoy the video highlights of this remarkable production and we sincerely hope that you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed performing it!
