In alignment with the most recent updates regarding the Stay at Home orders for Greater Sydney and some NSW regions, as well as NSW Health orders, all sport training, competition and activities have been suspended until further notice.
The Sport Department will keep the Loreto Normanhurst Community updated as often as practicable about return to sport, training, and competitions based on government advice and advice from the Loreto Normanhurst Leadership Team.
A reminder to engage with the Sport Department's Online Health and Wellbeing Program for Primary and Secondary School Students for Term 3!
The program aims to assist all students to remain healthy and active during the time of remote learning by providing a variety of opportunities and resources. This holistic program will encourage wellbeing in the areas of physical, mental, and emotional health; and provides a great opportunity for you and for your household to get involved. We encourage you to attempt as many of the activities/workouts each day as possible, keep the Department updated on your progress and send through any feedback that you may have.
The program can be accessed via the Sport Department Canvas Page or via the following link.
Term 4 Activity nominations will open on Monday 16 August. For more information, please visit the Sport Department Canvas Page or contact the department on sport@loretonh.nsw.edu.au.
Congratulations to Sophie Kavanagh (Year 11) who has been elected as the 2022 Sports Captain. We are looking forward to working closely with you to ensure all students at Loreto Normanhurst can become the best sportswomen they can be!
Congratulations to Greta Kraszula ('20) who has been granted an exciting four-year Football scholarship at Virginia Commonwealth University. We are so happy we were able provide opportunities to support Greta's football pathway and foster a lifelong passion for the sport.
Congratulations to Sophie Dwyer ('19), who has been selected into the 2021/2022 Australian Netball Development Squad. In addition, she has also been invited to the Australian Diamonds camp.
Congratulations to Sophie Earle (Year 12) who has successfully completed and been granted her Gold Award.
