Sports News - 22 October 2021

This week's Sport News sees us prepare for Term 1, congratulate Duke of Ed achievers and update on the return to sport.

Return to Sport Update

The Sport Department is very much looking forward to the return of the Loreto Normanhurst community onsite. The team have been busy preparing plans for the return to sport that comply with current government guidelines regarding school based sport. The team are hopeful that, as the term progresses, we can provide opportunities for our students to participate in Sport and Activities in some capacity. Further communications will be provided regarding the return to sport shortly.

Term 1 2022 Sport Nominations

To ensure the smooth transition for all students back to onsite learning, all Sport Nominations for Term 1 2022 Sport will now open on 1 November 2021. More information will be distributed to all students and families closer to the date. If you would like to be kept up to date on our offerings, please access the Sport Department CANVAS page.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

Congratulations to Emily Stockwell (Year 12) who has successfully completed and been granted her Gold Award. Emily’s initiative, perseverance and commitment across various activities has enabled her to complete the rigorous requirements of the Gold Award. Well done on this wonderful achievement!
