Parent Association Updates

Last Friday, we had the City Country Mother’s Lunch at Aqua Luna in Drummoyne. It was the first time that this event has been held since 2019 and for the first-time off site. We saw 140 Mothers come together to celebrate City and Country and it was an atmosphere of warmth and fun.

During the event we were honoured to have speeches from current parents (and alumnae) Gerri Hadwen and Anna Haire sharing their experiences of city and country.

In her speech, Anna referred to the 120 Book of Inspirational Loreto Women which showcases 120 Loreto Normanhurst alumnae.

We do have limited copies available for purchase if you would like your own copy of this book which can be collected on site or posted, please click HERE.

PAL would also like to thank Vicki Evans for being the main contact with the venue and the MC for the day. Rebecca Ryan from Gunnedah organised cotton on the tables and magazines from Tamworth. A big thank you to all our boarding families who donated produce from their local area and Anita Burke for putting hampers together for our raffle. Thank you to everyone who supported the raffle on the day, thanks to your generosity we raised over $2500!

Thanks to the committee, Sally Lee, Rebecca Ryan, Anita Burke, Jacquie Lindsay, Vicki Kevans, Helen Longley, Alex Oswald, Julie Son, Zeena Skelly and Melissa McCormick and a big thank you to all the mothers who attended on the day.
