Good luck to all students who are competing in their last weekend of Term 2 Saturday Sport this weekend – IGSA Football, IGSA Basketball, IPSHA Hockey and IPSHA Netball. We have seen some incredible team performances over the course of the term and hope you have all enjoyed the season of sport!
Good luck to the following students who will be running at the NSWCIS Cross Country Championships at Eastern Creek next Thursday 10th June. We wish you all the best of luck!

Congratulations to Jodie Drever (Year 10) and Ruth Hosie (Year 9) who played for the IGSA Football Team at the NSWCIS Football Championships on Monday and Tuesday this week. Further congratulations to Jodie who was selected as a goalkeeper for the NSWCIS Team. She will compete at the NSW All Schools Championships next week, and we wish her the best of luck!
Congratulations to Skye Halmarick (Year 8) who was a member of the NSWCIS AFL team that came runners up at the NSW All Schools 15&U AFL Championships last week. Skye was also named into the NSW Merit Team at the end of the tournament. Huge achievement Skye, well done!
Congratulations to Annie Goodall (Year 6) and Fleur Manion (Year 6) who were selected into the Primary Girls CIS Rugby 7’s Team. This is the first year that Rugby 7’s has been offered to our Primary students, so it is an exciting team for the girls to be a part of. They will compete at a NSWPSSA Rugby 7’s Gala Day next term.
At the time of print, Tessa Young (Year 5) was trialing for the NSWCIS Primary Touch Football Team. We wish her the best of the luck at these trials and will have an update on whether she was selected into the team in the following newsletter.
Congratulations to Mia Jones (Year 10) and Tamsyn Cairns (Year 11) who were selected into the CIS Secondary Girls Rugby 7’s Team to compete at the NSW All Schools Rugby 7’s Championships later this term. We wish you both the best of luck in that tournament!

An important note regarding correct sport uniform for Saturday competition sport.
Students who are not dressed in the correct uniform for competition will NOT be allowed to play. In the case that no Loreto Sport Staff member is present, your team coach will have the authority to remove a student from play and/or not allow a student to start play. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter. It is our expectation that you will be appropriately dressed and in uniform while representing Loreto Normanhurst.
