At Loreto Normanhurst, we take pride in our school and this is reflected in our well-maintained campus which contains the full range of facilities necessary to cater for all areas of study and interests.

The School is set in spacious grounds of over 25 acres, on the edge of bushland, and is a pleasant mix of historic and modern buildings that are ideal for fostering a conducive learning environment. The beautiful ovals, well-tended gardens, playgrounds, tennis and all-purpose courts, Gymnasium, Fitness Centre, and Aquatic Centre with a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, make up the superb facilities. These exceptional amenities cater to the diverse needs of our Day and Boarding students, ensuring that they have access to an enriching educational experience within a welcoming and supportive environment.

Agricultural Technologies Centre

Our new Agricultural Technologies Centre, 'Osborn Orchards' opened in 2023 to complement our Agricultural curriculum fostering a deep appreciation for STEM disciplines.

Aquatic Centre

25 metre indoor swimming pool for carnivals, sport and activities and a year-round squad program ranging from stroke development through to athletes competing at a national level.

Boarding School

The Boarding School has been integral to Loreto Normanhurst since it was founded as a country Boarding School in 1897. Today, the Boarding School enriches the diversity of our thriving community by connecting students from all over Australia and the world.

Chapel

The Chapel, built in 1953, is a beautiful, and sacred place treasured by the School. A variety of experiences are offered at the school: early morning Communion Services, Sunday evening Boarder Mass, and celebrations to mark the Church’s liturgical year.

Curran Theatre

The Curran Theatre is a versatile venue for performances and presentations, fostering a unique space for learning and community connection.

Deirdre Rofe Centre

Named after the 10th Principal of Loreto Normanhurst, Sr Deirdre Rofe ibvm, the DRC, as it's known, is a collaborative learning space and held the very first Loreto Normanhurst Music Festival in 1972.

Gonzaga Barry Centre

The GBC is a state-of-the-art teaching facility with flexible and multi-purpose spaces. The building provides over three levels of fit-for-purpose spaces in an open plan design inspiring connection and collaboration with views over the verdant oval.

Gymnasium and Hayden Fitness Centre

The Gymnasium and Hayden Fitness Centre overlooks the oval and bushland beyond and facilitates multi purpose sport activities, training and competitions as well as whole school events and assemblies.

Library

The Library maintains a well curated collection that balances the academic demands of the curriculum and the importance of reading for enjoyment and leisure.

Mary Ward Centre

Refurbished in 2023, The Mary Ward Wing is a bright new space for learning and collaborating.

Mary Ward Health and Wellness Centre

The Mary Ward Health & Wellness Centre is located within the school grounds. It is a centre for the health and wellbeing of all students and comprises a dynamic team of Registered Nurses and Counsellors.

Mother Evangeline Kendall Visual Arts Centre

The Mother Evangeline Kendall Visual Arts Centre provides well-equipped and inspiring visual art rooms where students can explore and express their artistic talents with state-of-the-art tools and resources.

Sr Veronica Reid Oval

The Sister Veronica Reid Oval is a dynamic outdoor setting where students engage in various sport lessons and activities, competitions and gala days, fostering a sense of community and wellbeing while surrounded by the natural beauty of the school's expansive grounds.

St Michael's Tennis Courts

Teresa Ball Primary Centre

The Teresa Ball Primary Centre was reopened in 2015 and has three classes in Year 5 and 6.

Veronica Reid Buildings

The VRC buildings are purpose-built learning spaces on the verge of the oval.
