Director of
Business Services

The Director of Business Services is responsible for the leadership of the School’s financial, capital and infrastructure development within the context of the School’s Strategic and Master Plans.

The role supports the Principal by providing strategic commercial insight on decision making, business performance and potential opportunities, and drives improvements across finance and the broader school business.



Director of Information Technology

The Director of IT is responsible for the delivery of IT services to all sectors of the School community, within the context of the School’s Strategic, Master and Operational Plans.

It provides strategic leadership of the school and IT throughout the organisation to ensure that its IT enables its commitment to innovation, rigor and a futures-oriented outlook so that Loreto Normanhurst is at the forefront of technological thought and practice.

We see our people as our most valuable assets and support staff in achieving their very best by providing many opportunities for professional learning and career development, including:

Induction Program for New Staff held as a two-day intensive in January each year. For all staff commencing after January, the Human Resources Department coordinates their ongoing induction.

Staff Formation sessions designed to strengthen staff understanding of the Loreto charism and its impact on the Loreto Normanhurst community.

Individual and Department Professional Learning Experiences including a wide variety of conferences, workshops, courses and networks offsite, as well as in-house and online experiences.

Annual Staff Professional Learning Days
Four Staff Professional Learning Days are held during the year and one Staff Retreat Day is held mid-year. In addition, teaching and boarding staff undertake two faculty days in non-term time.

Staff Scholarship available annually to staff for study and research.

Beginning Teachers’ Network supporting staff at the start of their teaching career.

Proficient Teacher and Experienced Teacher Networks supporting teachers undertaking these accreditation processes.
