June Roarty Music Scholarship

The Scholarship is open to new students entering Year 9 at Loreto Normanhurst in 2027 who currently reside in regional or rural NSW, are seeking a boarding place and demonstrate musical ability and potential.

The Scholarship covers boarding fees and music tuition from Year 9–12.

Academic tuition fees and other applicable School costs remain the responsibility of the family.

Applicants should demonstrate musical ability and potential, a passion for music and a desire to continue their musical development.

Applicants must submit a video performing two contrasting musical pieces that demonstrate different aspects of their musical ability and expression. The pieces may be recorded specifically for the application or be suitable recent recordings.

A simple phone recording is acceptable. Professional recording or editing is not required, and applicants will not be assessed on the quality of the recording itself.

Applications close on 20 November 2026. The completed online application and performance video must be submitted by this date.

Applications will be reviewed, with shortlisted applicants contacted from 30 November 2026 and be invited to interview and audition, with further details provided at that stage.
