Loreto Normanhurst is committed to supporting families through Equity Scholarships (formerly known as Bursaries). These scholarships help ensure that the holistic education envisioned by Mary Ward remains accessible to young women who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend our School.

Equity Scholarships
- Applications for an Equity Scholarship can only be submitted once the enrolment process has been successfully completed.
- Any financial assistance applies to tuition and/or boarding fees, and the amount awarded varies by each case. Families receiving assistance will be required to pay the remaining tuition and/or boarding fees, as well as any additional costs determined by the School. - Families wishing to be considered for an Equity Scholarship must express their interest either on the Application for Enrolment or when the scholarship application process opens.
Eligibility Criteria
Equity Scholarships are:
- Available to both Boarding and Day applicants.
- Available to applicants who have successfully completed the enrolment process by December the year prior to the scholarship process opening. This means:
- Families have successfully completed their enrolment interview and are congruent with the Loreto Normanhurst values.
- And/or have already received an offer of enrolment.
- Means tested and based on financial need.
- Open to applicants who intend to commence at Loreto Normanhurst in the year the scholarships are awarded.
- Not available to students who have already commenced at the School.

Applications Close: Monday, 23 February 2026
Outcomes will be communicated by the end of Term 1 2026.
It is the responsibility of all families to make note of scholarship opening dates and communication from the School.
Families who previously expressed interest in an Equity Scholarship on the Application for Enrolment will be contacted by the School once the process opens.
Application Requirements
Incomplete applications cannot be considered. Please ensure you have all required supporting documents ready to submit as outlined below:
- The Bursary Application Form (this will be provided to you).
- A completed financial statement (an income and expenditure template will be provided).
- The last two years tax returns OR the last two years annual financial statements.
