The opportunities I was given, and living away from home, helped me grow my independence—and my whole family noticed. I built deep connections with both day and boarding students. Even though we came from different backgrounds, I felt we were all one, supporting each other. The teachers and boarding staff always had your best interests at heart.
I was travelling a lot each day to get to school, and my parents wanted me to have more opportunity to study and do well, so I came to Loreto Normanhurst in Year 11. The teachers and boarding staff recognised what I needed and always encouraged me, even pushing me to try for leadership roles. I always worked hard, grateful for everything my parents did to give me this chance.
Cherishing every moment at Loreto, I took with me many memories and life-long friends…I am immensely grateful to those who gave me the opportunity to attend Loreto Normanhurst and I am honoured to give my support to the Equity Scholarship program.
I have had so many fantastic opportunities thus far in my life, and a lot of them have been directly and indirectly facilitated through my Loreto education.
