Celebrating an Extraordinary First Giving Day
On Wednesday 28 May, the Loreto Normanhurst community came together for our inaugural Giving Day. A powerful celebration of generosity, vision, and the enduring spirit of our school.
From the moment we launched, it was clear that our community was ready to make a difference. Parents, alumnae, staff, students and friends rallied together, united by a shared belief in the power of girls’ education.
Together, we raised an extraordinary $360,300 to support Phase Two of the Loreto Normanhurst Master Plan.
This remarkable achievement was only possible thanks to the generosity of our matching donors and every member of our community who contributed, ensuring that every gift, no matter the size, had double the impact.

What Your Gift Will Help Create
Giving Day contributions are helping bring to life inspiring, purpose-built learning environments that will shape the educational journey of every Loreto Normanhurst student:
- A new Technologies Precinct with commercial kitchens, workshops and collaborative spaces, preparing students for the industries of the future
- A dedicated Music Precinct designed for creativity, rehearsal and performance, supporting our students' talents and passions
- Expanded General and Open Learning Spaces designed for connection, curiosity and contemporary teaching across all year groups
These developments are more than buildings. They represent our commitment to delivering exceptional learning opportunities—now and for generations to come.
A Community Effort
On campus, students marked Giving Day with celebration and spirit during House Time, as the whole school joined in a special event to honour the occasion. Online, our wider community followed the day’s progress through stories and updates shared across our social channels.
What began as an invitation to give became something much bigger, a shared expression of hope, belief and possibility for the future of Loreto Normanhurst.
