A Message from the Principal
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the vibrant, innovative community that is Loreto Normanhurst. We are delighted to share with you an insight into the life of our community of faith, learning and social justice.
Our excellence in girls’ education is built on the legacy of our foundress Mary Ward; a 400-year old tradition of forming young women of compassion and justice responsive to the needs of their times. Mary Ward was a visionary, driven by her conviction that women reflected the glory of God. It is Mary Ward's grit and her values of sincerity, verity, felicity, justice and freedom that underpin our future-focused approach to holistic education today.
As you explore our website, you will notice the interconnectedness of our FACE Curriculum – Faith, Academic, Community and Extra-Curricular. You will see how a Loreto Normanhurst education unfolds inside and outside the classroom, how it is driven both by individual passion and collaboration and how it cultivates a sense of belonging to community.
I encourage you to visit us onsite to experience our beautiful grounds and facilities. You can register for a school tour here. We would really love to welcome you to our School.
Through the pages of our website, I hope that you will see how we can partner with your family in educating your daughter so that she is challenged and inspired to take her place in the world as a seeker of truth and an instrument of justice.
Ms Marina Ugonotti
